Fridge & Freezer Disposal — Free Curbside Pickup or In‑Home Removal for a Fee

GoGarbageGrabber provides compliant, eco‑friendly disposal and recycling for residential refrigerators and freezers. We offer free curbside pickup when you place the unit at the agreed pickup location. If the appliance is inside, in a garage, or otherwise difficult to access, choose our in‑home removal option for an additional fee. We do not accept customer drop‑offs.

What this service includes

• Licensed refrigerant recovery: Appliances are processed at licensed facilities where refrigerant and hazardous components are handled to EPA and local standards.
• Responsible recycling: Metal, plastics, and other components are recycled whenever possible to reduce landfill waste.
• Disposal documentation: We provide a disposal receipt on request for records, insurance, or business needs.

How to prepare your unit

• Unplug and, if applicable, defrost the appliance at least 12–24 hours before pickup to prevent leaking water.
• Remove all food, loose shelves, and personal items.
• Secure or remove doors if feasible — our crew may remove doors at pickup for safety.
• Curbside pickup (free): Place the appliance at the agreed curb/driveway pickup point before the scheduled window.
• In‑home removal (fee): Select the in‑home removal option at checkout if you need the unit removed from inside the house or a hard‑to‑reach location.

Accepted & not accepted

• Accepted: Residential refrigerators and freezers (top‑freezer, bottom‑freezer, side‑by‑side, compact units, chest freezers).
• Not accepted without prior arrangement: Large commercial refrigeration systems, walk‑in coolers, units with unknown hazardous modifications, or appliances containing liquids/chemicals that have not been drained.

Scheduling & pricing

• Flat fee per unit — price displayed on this product page.
• Free curbside pickup when the unit is placed at the agreed pickup location.
• In‑home removal is available for an additional fee based on access and labor; select this option during booking.
• Same‑day or next‑day pickup may be available depending on your area and route schedule.
