GoGarbageGrabber removes residential chest freezers with professional pickup and eco‑friendly processing. We offer free curbside pickup when you place the unit at the agreed pickup location. If the freezer is inside, in a basement, garage, or otherwise difficult to access, select our in‑home removal option for an additional fee. We do not accept customer drop‑offs.

What’s included

• Curbside pickup (no extra cost): Place the chest freezer at the agreed curb/driveway location and our crew will collect it on the scheduled day.
• In‑home removal (additional fee): Our team will remove the freezer from inside your home or other hard‑to‑reach locations for an added charge — choose this option at checkout.
• Licensed processing: Units are taken to authorized facilities for safe refrigerant handling (if applicable) and material recycling.
• Disposal receipt: Documentation available on request for insurance, business, or record‑keeping needs.

How to prepare your chest freezer

• Unplug and fully defrost the freezer at least 12–48 hours before pickup to avoid water leakage.
• Remove all food, loose parts, and personal items. Drain and dry the interior.
• Secure the lid or remove it if possible; tape any loose components for safe transport.
• Place the unit at the curb/driveway prior to the scheduled pickup window if using curbside service.
• If you need in‑home removal, clear a safe path and let us know about stairs, narrow doors, or tight turns so we bring the right crew/equipment.

Accepted & not accepted

• Accepted: Residential chest freezers and compact upright freezers.
• May require prior approval or a special quote: Large commercial freezers, walk‑in units, or units with unknown hazardous modifications.
• Not accepted: Appliances containing flammable liquids, sealed chemical containers, or other hazardous wastes without prior arrangement.
