Dishwasher — Free Curbside Pickup
Long description (HTML)
Dishwasher Removal & Disposal — Curbside Pickup Only When Disconnected
GoGarbageGrabber removes and recycles residential dishwashers when they are fully disconnected and ready for pickup. We offer free curbside pickup when you or a technician disconnect the unit and place it at the agreed pickup location. If you purchase our in‑home removal option (for a fee), our crew will carry and haul the appliance out of the home — but we do not perform electrical, plumbing, or gas disconnection under any circumstance.
Important — units must be disconnected
- We do not disconnect water lines, drain hoses, gas connections, or electrical wiring. The dishwasher must be fully disconnected, dry, and safe to move before our crew arrives.
- If you cannot disconnect the appliance yourself, arrange a licensed plumber/electrician or handyman to disconnect it prior to scheduling pickup.
What’s included
- Curbside pickup (no extra cost): We collect dishwashers placed at the agreed curb/driveway location once they are disconnected and ready.
- In‑home removal (additional fee): Our crew will perform the lifting and carry the disconnected appliance out of the home for an added charge — we still will not disconnect utilities.
- Responsible processing: Appliances are transported to licensed facilities for recycling and proper disposal of components.
- Disposal receipt: Documentation available on request for records or insurance purposes.
How to prepare your dishwasher
- Have the power turned off at the breaker and electrical wiring fully disconnected.
- Have the water supply shut off and all water lines/drain hoses disconnected and drained.
- Ensure the appliance is free of standing water and loose items.
- For curbside pickup: place the disconnected dishwasher at the agreed curb/driveway pickup point before the scheduled window.
- For in‑home removal: ensure the unit is disconnected and a clear path to the pickup point is available; inform us of stairs, tight turns, or narrow doors.
Accepted & not accepted
- Accepted: Standard residential dishwashers (built‑in, portable, and drawer models) that are fully disconnected and ready for transport.
- Not accepted: Installed/connected dishwashers that require on‑site plumbing or electrical disconnection, commercial dishwashing units, or appliances with unknown hazardous modifications.
Scheduling & pricing
- Flat fee per appliance — price displayed on this product page.
- Free curbside pickup when the unit is disconnected and placed at the agreed pickup location.
- In‑home removal available for an additional fee but only for appliances that are already disconnected and safe to move.
- Same‑day/next‑day pickup may be available depending on route scheduling and service area.
Safety note: For your safety and ours, our crews will not attempt any electrical, gas, or plumbing disconnection. If you need help disconnecting, please hire a qualified tradesperson before booking. If you’re unsure whether your dishwasher qualifies, upload a photo during booking or contact our support team for a quick assessment. Disposal receipts are available on request.
