TV Removal & Recycling — Curbside Pickup When Unplugged and Unmounted
GoGarbageGrabber removes and recycles residential TVs with care and eco‑friendly processing. We offer free curbside pickup when TVs are unplugged, unmounted (if wall‑mounted), and placed at the agreed pickup location. If you need the TV carried out from inside the home, choose our in‑home removal option for an additional fee — note we do not perform wall‑mount uninstallation, electrical work, or hardwired disconnects.
What this service includes
- Curbside pickup (no extra cost): Place unplugged and unmounted TVs at the agreed curb/driveway location and our crew will collect them during the scheduled window.
- In‑home removal (optional fee): We can carry unplugged, unmounted TVs out of the home for a fee. Our crews will not unmount TVs from walls, remove brackets, or disconnect hardwired connections.
- Safe handling: TVs are fragile — crews use blankets, straps, and two‑person lifts for larger screens to prevent damage to your property and the appliance.
- Responsible recycling: Units are taken to authorized e‑waste facilities where materials and components are recycled per local regulations.
- Documentation: Recycling/disposal receipts available on request for business or record‑keeping needs.
How to prepare your TV
- Unplug the TV and remove any external devices (cable boxes, gaming consoles, mounts, soundbars).
- If wall‑mounted, unmount the TV and remove mounting brackets before scheduling pickup. We do NOT unmount or detach wall brackets.
- Remove batteries from remote controls and any attached storage devices; perform a factory reset if the TV stores personal accounts or data.
- Secure or pack the screen with a soft blanket or protective cover if possible to minimize risk during transport.
- For curbside pickup: place the unplugged, unmounted TV at the agreed pickup point before the scheduled window.
- For in‑home removal: ensure the TV is unplugged and unmounted and clear a path to the pickup point; notify us of stairs, narrow doorways, or tight turns so we bring the right crew/equipment.
Accepted & not accepted
- Accepted: Flat‑screen LED/LCD/OLED/Plasma TVs, smart TVs, and smaller CRT TVs (check photo during booking for very old/bulky units).
- May require additional fee: Very large screens (typically 65″+), projection systems, or sets requiring two or more crew members to safely remove and transport.
- Not accepted: Wall‑mounted or hardwired TVs that are still attached to brackets or have live electrical/plumbing wiring; units with unknown hazardous modifications or contamination.
Scheduling & pricing
- Flat fee per TV or bundled pricing options — price shown on this product page.
- Free curbside pickup when the TV is unplugged, unmounted, and placed at the agreed pickup location.
- In‑home removal available for an additional fee but only for TVs that are already unplugged and unmounted.
- Same‑day/next‑day pickup may be available depending on your area and route scheduling.
Safety & privacy note: We do not disconnect hardwired mounts, remove bolts, or perform electrical work. If your TV stores personal accounts or data, perform a factory reset before pickup. If you’re unsure whether your TV qualifies, upload a photo during booking or contact our support team for a quick assessment. Recycling receipts are available on request.
